Occupational Therapist (Full Time)

We are looking to hire a full time OT/R to see children in the clinic setting (located in Chamblee, GA), with the potential to also treat children at school.

- Conduct evaluations & write up evaluation summaries to discuss with parents
- Develop treatment plans that are unique to each child and their specific goals ( adjust as needed)
- Carry out treatment plans in the clinic or school setting
- Communicate therapy progress with parents
- Listen & take note of parents concerns with their child
- Educate parents on sensory processing & self regulation
- Provide documentation for therapy visits
- Communicate & collaborate with other professionals serving CIM clients
- Develop home programs (when needed)
- Aid in educational resource development 
- Potential opportunity to contribute to the blog
- Help collect client reviews & participate in other promotional activities when needed

Job requirements:

- Have Georgia licensure 
- Have previously graduated from an accredited OT school
- Have a reliable way to get to work
- Have experience working with children (Preferred) 
- Have experience with sensory integration (Preferred)

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Part Time)

Children In Motion is looking to hire a part time COTA to run weekly movement classes at a new private school in the Sandy Springs area. Similar to the traditional ‘specials’ model, teachers bring their students to the movement class a few times a week to participate in activities focused on motor coordination, motor sequencing, and self regulation.

- Have malpractice insurance
- Have a reliable way to get to work

benefits:

- Compensation ranges from $25 - $30 an hour depending on experience
- Work week is Monday thru Thursday, with an occasional meeting on Friday
- Morning hours (4 hour shifts, Monday thru Thursday)
- Follows school schedule, so you will have all school holidays off
- Opportunity to grow skillset under the mentorship of an Occupational Therapist with 30+ years of experience, as well as mentorship from the Head of School
