Pediatric Occupational Therapy Job Openings

We are so excited you are interested in joining the team!

Part Time Pediatric COTA or OT

We are looking for someone to help us provide therapeutic services in our clinic in the afternoons. Position starts as part time, but more hours will become available as we build up the caseload. We also have morning hours available at a local school if more hours are needed to start. 

- Assist with group activities (in a school setting)

- Set up/put away materials used for group activities 

- Help keep students safe during activities

- Implement individual treatment plans 

- Develop fun & novel activities to meet client’s individual goals

- Communicate with parents during/after therapy sessions to provide summary of what was worked on during the session & to share any progress updates or recommendations for what to work on outside of therapy

- Contribute to ongoing assessments & update treatment plans

- Contribute to the development and implementation of groups including gross motor, fine motor, and sensory groups

- Assist in educating parents, teachers, and other professionals about motor development, sensory processing, & self regulation. This could look like providing educational handouts & visuals when appropriate, collaborating on new resource development when you see a need, and writing informative blog posts (when needed)

- Participate in workshops, in-services, and social media to promote Children In Motion when needed

Job responsibilities:

- Have Georgia licensure 

- Afternoon availability Monday thru Thursday

- Have a reliable way to get to work

- Strong written & verbal communication skills

- Experience working with children

- Compensation starting at $25/hour (COTA) (OT reach out for compensation details)

Occupational Therapy Aid

We are looking to hire an OT Aid to help us at our clinic Monday - Thursday in the afternoons. This would be a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning more about occupational therapy and/or in need of clinical experience prior to applying for OT school.

- Enjoys working with children 
- Creative problem solver
- Takes the initiative & is a team player

- Assist OT & COTA during treatment sessions when needed
- Carry out light cleaning to provide a clean working environment
- Put items away & assist in keeping the clinic tidy between therapy sessions
- Maintain therapy equipment at the clinic
- Set up activities for therapy sessions
