Occupational Therapist (Full Time)

We are looking to hire a full time OT/R to see children in the clinic setting (located in Chamblee, GA), with the potential to also treat children at school.

- Creative problem solver
- Takes the initiative
- Excellent clinical reasoning & observational skills 
- Is playful & comfortable being goofy

- Conduct evaluations & write up evaluation summaries to discuss with parents
- Develop treatment plans that are unique to each child and their specific goals ( adjust as needed)
- Carry out treatment plans in the clinic or school setting
- Communicate therapy progress with parents
- Listen & take note of parents concerns with their child
- Educate parents on sensory processing & self regulation
- Provide documentation for therapy visits
- Communicate & collaborate with other professionals serving CIM clients
- Develop home programs (when needed)
- Aid in educational resource development 
- Potential opportunity to contribute to the blog
- Help collect client reviews & participate in other promotional activities when needed

the ideal candidate:

Job responsibilities:

Job requirements:

- Have Georgia licensure 
- Have previously graduated from an accredited OT school
- Have a reliable way to get to work
- Have experience working with children (Preferred) 
- Have experience with sensory integration (Preferred)

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Part Time)

Children In Motion is looking to hire a part time COTA to help implement treatment plans in the clinic. 

- Enjoys working with children

- Implement treatment plans created by the occupational therapist
- Provide feedback & updates on client's progress to the occupational therapist
- Help keep treatment rooms & sensory gym tidy

- Have a reliable way to get to work
